Why Tutoring?
Even in small classroom settings, teachers can be hard-pressed to offer every student the attention he or she needs in order to excel. For students who are struggling, simply getting by, or looking for a greater challenge, one-on-one tutoring is an excellent source of support. As a private tutor, I am able to guide students at every step of the way and modify my instruction according to their pace, style, and needs.
All of this is especially true of standardized tests such as the SAT and the ACT. These tests can be unlike anything that students have encountered in their regular classes. Working with a tutor gives students guidance and motivation so that they feel ready when they step into the testing room.
